British Gas Energy Smart is the new online website from the British energy giant in support to their campaign. They have started to raise awareness of environmentally friendly use of energy since 2008 until the present day making the difference in comparison with other competitor companies.
Around the year of 2000 many energy companies started to emerge into the industry promoting their unbeatable prices and insurance fees. Here is the story from Joshua that currently lives in Manchester.
“One day, a person came knocking on my door saying that, they were a relatively new company and we re doing incredibly prices regarding their gas and electricity supplying. I compared these to the ones from British Gas that I had at the moment and truth is, they were cheaper. I signed the new contract and changed my home appliances including my electricity top up key. I was very happy for three months as my utility bills decreased of about 12 % which always helps.
After 6 months they started charging me ridiculous amounts of money with fees that seem ludicrous including costs for which I never took benefit off. When I saw the new campaign on the Internet about British Gas Energy Smart plus their new electric meters that allow people to accurately measure their electricity I decided that, I owed an apology to British Gas.
I canceled my contract with “N” energy supplier and moved back on to British Gas. At home on the first week I received a British Energy Smart Pack that included energy efficient light bulbs, the electricity meter plus two other gadgets that would help me to both control and connect my energy consumption reader to my cellphone and my home computer.

I know save much more energy than before and these appliances got me so much more responsible towards the way I know spend electricity or gas. Especially for my children, this apparatus can improve the life’s of many by adhering to their free energy saving appliances ”
